  • Updated 14th December 2024

I’m about to open the doors to my next offer, and I couldn’t be more excited. This offer has been something I’ve wanted to create since the very beginning of my business (and actually tried to create in 2019, but my business wasn’t at the level to handle it yet).

Goals I’m working on right now:

    My new offer

    7 figure business

    Building a community in Sydney

  • Hey! I’m Sarah.

I set goals to feel alive.

    Sweaty palms.
    Racing heart.

    Can’t think of anything else.

Combining my background in Psychology with my training as a High Performance Coach, I help ambitious entrepreneurs, creatives and athletes achieve their goals.

l created this blog to share behind-the-scenes of my own goals and help you push your limits. I'm creating what I wish existed for me to consume.

People often ask if I’ll climb Mt Everest like my parents did in the 90's (as depicted in the 2015 film, Everest).

While I’ve done a little bit of mountaineering (Kilimanjaro in 2011 and Everest Base Camp in 2007) what most people don’t know is that my late dad was also an entrepreneur. I feel most connected to him through our shared love of entrepreneurship and attempting the impossible in all areas of life.

February 2021 Goals

pexels-karolina-grabowska-4226726.jpg

There are 28 days in this month.

Because this year I set my goals out Quarterly, I already have a rough idea of what I need to do this month.

  1. Get more photos done with the lovely Aimee Jules Photography (to move closer to my goal of up-leveling my photos and graphics).

Helpful thought: Making time for this is a priority to me.

  2. Listen/watch Tony Robbins’ Ultimate Relationship Program with my boyfriend, Daniel (he has been away for most of January so we haven’t had a chance to do the work together yet!). I also just realized it’s Valentine’s month so it fits perfectly.

Helpful thought: This gets to be so fun!

  3. Do 4 Livestreams
I LOVE doing Livestreams because I always feel so much more connected to the Impossible Girls. but I always forget to do them/don’t make them a priority. This month, that’s changing!

Helpful thought: There’s someone out there right now who needs to hear my message.

  4. Journaling on this one question, every single time I create content: How can I put out the most valuable content on the internet today? It’s really important to me that this group is a place where women can come and actually get support for their goals. This is my favourite place to hang out online, and I want to keep it that way! :)

Helpful thought: One piece of content could change someone’s life.

  5. Finish re-reading my favourite book of all time, The 9 Secrets of Women Who Get What They Want by Kate White (it’s the book that sparked my goal-getting life at 14 years old!). It’s a nightmare to get hold of because it was published in 1998 and there aren’t very many copies. I keep giving my copies away, haha! I found a copy on Amazon UK and it took 4 weeks to arrive in NZ, but it’s finally here and I’m SO excited to read it!

Helpful thought: This is my favourite thing to read!

Have you set your February goals yet?

January 2021 Goals Review

  1. Attend the Mastermind with an open mind, ready to take any coaching on board.
Done! I’ll be honest – it was a rollercoaster. I was being pushed beyond my business limits in a way I didn’t expect. I felt pressure. I got confused. I cried. But I also danced and felt euphoric and like I was stepping into a whole new mental level that I wasn’t expecting to step into for at least another 3 years. It was one of the best experiences of my life. All I can say is, INVEST in your growth, whatever that looks like for you. Because up-leveling YOU means everything you do gets an automatic up-level too.

  2. Slowly move myself onto New York time a week ahead of the mastermind (and wear a watch set at Eastern time to remind me).
Done! My entire life, I’ve always believed I was a night owl. But it turns out I CAN be a morning person if I have a good reason to get up. I was getting up at 1:30am daily without any trouble at all (I was going to sleep at 6pm). All this time I thought I “couldn’t do mornings”. Who knew?!

  3. Do my physiotherapy exercises daily.
Yup. As painful as they are (physically and mentally), I’ve been doing them every single day. And I confessed to my physiotherapist that I didn’t do them for most of December. It was a good kick in the booty! 🙈

  4. Actually create all of my content on Fridays.
Done! And I was SO pleased that I created two weeks of content ahead of time for while I was at the mastermind because I ended up “jet-lagged” for an entire week after.

Did you hit your January goals? Leave a comment to let me know!

The Unsexy Truth About Getting Unstuck

pexels-pixabay-247851.jpg

In 2018, whenever I came up against a problem in my business, instead of trying to find a creative solution to solve it – I would just change the problem I was dealing with.

No clients? Start a membership site! No members? Start a YouTube channel! No subscribers? Start a podcast! No podcast equipment? Join a gym!

I thought I was making progress, but I never actually created solutions – I just chose different problems.

I wish someone had told me this. In fairness, they probably did. (Sorry, Daniel!)

But I couldn’t see.

Because I was desperately focused on finding the magic pill – the one thing that would make my business take off.

The key I was missing was to be relentlessly resourceful.

In other words, the key is to keep coming up with new, creative ways to solve the obstacle you’re facing.

The keyword here is keep.

You can’t try a few things and then stop. You have to keep going until there’s a solution that works.

Thomas Edison tested over 1000 ideas to create the lightbulb before he came upon the one that worked.

Imagine if, after the first couple of ideas, he’d given up to try working on the telephone? Or the automobile?

Eventually, I figured out that I had to stick to one thing, and my business finally got off the ground.

But it could have been sooooooo much sooner.

So if I could go back, I would tell myself this unsexy truth:

Success will come when you are relentlessly resourceful about finding solutions to the ONE problem you're facing.

What is your ONE problem you are committed to solving?

How to Stop Procrastinating

IMG_3807.jpg

Procrastination can properly screw up your goals.

I’ve been there. Don’t let it.

Just do 5 minutes.

Set a timer.

After 5 minutes, you can decide if you want to continue or stop.

Starting is the hardest part.

But 5 minutes is enough to bridge the gap between starting and being in the zone.

If 5 minutes is up and you want to stop, that’s okay. Stop.

But come back again for another 5 minutes.

And if 5 minutes is up and you’re stuck into it, great.

Either way, you get at least 5 minutes closer to your goal.

And you’ve broken your procrastination habit.

Do it.

Do it now.

Actually though.

Pick up the pen. Put on your running shoes. Open the book.

Just 5 minutes.

It’s legit magic, I promise.

Are You Showing Up For Your Future Self?

1A1A9403.jpg

What I’m working on right now: Showing up for my future self like she is my number one priority.

I am so grateful to my past self for putting me first. But now it’s time to step it up and consider my future self before I think about what I want right now.

The current ways I’m going above and beyond for my future self:

  • Getting up at 2am (and going to sleep at 6pm) every day for a whole week ahead of my mastermind so I’m fresh and awake (over the time zone “jet lag”) by the time it begins

  • Putting my savings away FIRST (rather than hoping what is left over is enough)

  • Brainstorming ways to make her life easier, including scheduling in time off and reducing the number of hours she works (I heard someone say “Schedule your calendar like you were scheduling it for your best friend.”).

  • Putting in systems and software in my business that are tedious to set up, so it will make her life easier

  • Writing two weeks worth of content in advance so my future self can focus on other things soon, even though my brain wants to give up at every step

  • Be willing to slow down my business growth goals in order to build a strong business, not just a big one (this one has been a hard pill to swallow!).

  • Doing my physiotherapy exercises every day, even when I’ve already gone to bed – and then suddenly remember. I’ve been getting back out of bed to do them because I want my future self to have a body that is pain-free.

What are you doing today to look after your future self?

Everything Breeds Success

bravo-logo.png

In 2017, I nearly became the Television Host of Bravo TV.

The producer told me I was *this* close.

But they said I was too young.

They gave it to Kylie Jenner’s bestie at the time, Cassidy.

I cried for a week.

But it was the one of the best things that ever happened to me, because it showed me I can just apply for stuff I’m way under qualified for, and still be considered.

It reminded me I can go after things that feel impossible.

What followed in 2018 was an epic year:

➡️Created a blog

➡️Started a t-shirt company

➡️Made my own Instagram course

➡️Visited 19 countries in 90 days

➡️Moved to England

➡️Found (or created) my calling in personal development

➡️Got certified as a High Performance Coach in Arizona

➡️Started my coaching business and got my first paid client in 2 days

None of that would have happened if I’d got the job.

None of any of this.

My boyfriend always says Success Breeds Success.

It’s true.

And you know what else?

Failure Breeds Success too.

So whether you’ve recently succeeded or recently failed, it doesn’t matter:

EVERYTHING IS BUILDING YOUR SUCCESS.
