Updated 19th January 2025
I recently opened the doors to my brand new membership, GET IT DONE. I couldn’t be more excited! This offer has been something I’ve wanted to create since the very beginning of my business (and actually tried to create in 2019, but my business wasn’t at the level to handle it yet). We’ve had 80 incredible members sign up in the first month and I’m just having so much fun.
Goals I’m working on right now:
Creating a simpler day to day
7 figure business
Building a community in Sydney

Hey! I’m Sarah.
I set goals to feel alive.
Sweaty palms.
Racing heart.
Can’t think of anything else.Combining my background in Psychology with my training as a High Performance Coach, I help ambitious entrepreneurs, creatives and athletes achieve their goals.
l created this blog to share behind-the-scenes of my own goals and help you push your limits. I'm creating what I wish existed for me to consume.
People often ask if I’ll climb Mt Everest like my parents did in the 90's (as depicted in the 2015 film, Everest).
While I’ve done a little bit of mountaineering (Kilimanjaro in 2011 and Everest Base Camp in 2007) what most people don’t know is that my late dad was also an entrepreneur. I feel most connected to him through our shared love of entrepreneurship and attempting the impossible in all areas of life.
Ready to do something impossible together?

2021 Impossible Goal Setting: 6 Questions to Ask Yourself
2021 is SO close. That means if you haven’t already, it’s definitely time to set some goals for the next year.
I recently led a workshop on goal setting, and I thought I would share the most important questions I asked my attendees.
What is your biggest, most impossible vision for your life? (Beyond this year, the next 5 or 10 years).
What do you really, really, really want? (Be honest)
If you’re struggling to answer, think about the categories of relationships, career, health, love, hobbies.
What are other people doing that you secretly love to do?
If you could only achieve 3 things that would get you closer to that vision this year, what would you want them to be?
Which dreams are NOT coming true this year in order to make space for these ones? (Make an anti-goal list).
Why is each of your three goals non-negotiable? Why are they important to you?
What are you willing to do to make each of these three things happen?
Of those things, what single action would GUARANTEE that each goal happens? Set that as your action step!
When Stuff Goes Wrong, Get Back on the Horse
I’ve had one of those days where everything seems to go pear-shaped.
I forgot to record the first part of my workshop
I had food in my teeth the whole time I was talking and didn’t realise
I got a headache and fell asleep in the middle of the day, putting everything behind schedule
I accidentally sat in a puddle (yes, really)
Even though none of these are real problems and won’t affect me tomorrow, it still made me CRINGE and want to run away and avoid all of my responsibilities.
But even though it sucks, I’m still choosing to show up for the things that will move me towards my goals today.
Because I want to be the kind of person who shows up even when she doesn't feel like it.
I spoke in another blog post about how Will Smith says he doesn't care what his in-the-moment feelings tell him. He says that what he feels like in the moment never gets a say in his success.
Feelings are short term. Results are forever.
Essentialism
I’ve been thinking a lot about minimalism. Not minimalism of stuff, but minimalism of lifestyle.
Only bringing into my life what truly matters. Letting go of the rest.
I’ve also been listening to Greg McKeown’s Essentialism book, and it’s totally been transforming my way of looking at what I need to do in my life.
Do I really need to be checking social media THAT much? Even if I use it for business?
Do I really need to have THAT many things on my to do list? Could some of them be reduced?
Do I really need to bring THAT much stuff with me? Will I really need it?
The answer is usually no. Almost always.
So I’m learning to declutter my own process of decision making.
Leaving only what is essential.
Nike Were Right
Thinking about doing the thing is the hard part. Doing it is easy.
I’ve had all sorts of thoughts that have lead to stress over the past couple of days, and yet, when it comes down to it – none of it is really that stressful. I just need to do the thing.
Nike were right.
Change The Thought You’re Thinking & You Can Change Everything
Our thoughts control how we feel, and our feelings control our actions, and our actions control our results.
If you want a different result, choose a new thought.
Easier said than done – but when done, it’s like magic.
The Big Question On My Mind for 2021
In 2019, I shared that my biggest learning lesson of the year was If it matters, do it daily.
And in 2020, I lived by the words Relentless Effort.
In 2021, the question I want to ask myself every single day is Now that I am already X, what do I do?
This isn’t a new question to me – I’ve spoken about it a lot (it’s how I overcame my fear of flying).
But in 2020, it totally hit home, and it has changed my entire life.
Now that I am already (my ideal self/my future self/Michael Jordan/the healthiest me) what do I do?
And then live into that.
Outwork Chance
You can have anything you want if you’re willing to ask 1000 people. – Unknown
Imagine actually asking 1000 people for what you want.
Chances are, someone will say yes.
But why let chance decide?
If you want to guarantee success, you have to outwork chance.
You have to go beyond the odds.
You have to ask a thousand AND ONE people.
Then you’ll be the kind of person who doesn’t have to question if they’ll make it.
You’ll be the kind of person who KNOWS they will.
What is your chance of getting the promotion?
Or becoming an actor?
Or writing a best seller?
Or creating a client?
Or getting a follower?
Or making a dollar?
Don’t leave it up to chance.
Calculate it. Outwork it. Make it happen.
I Hired a Personal Assistant
One of my goals this month was to hire a Personal Assistant like Donna from Suits.
I think I found her! This month we’re strategizing the changes that need to be made to help my business run more smoothly, and next month we will kick off.
I’m SO excited. I can’t wait to give you more information and let you know all about her.
That’s one thing checked off my December Goals list already. Done.
A Question for My Readers
If you could give ONE piece of goal-setting advice to your past self, what would it be?
BE the Person You Want to Be
I was afraid of flying for 10 years.
Gripping the seat, silent crying, sweating through my clothes kind of fear.
I thought it was just who I was.
Then I rapidly changed my identity. I decided to become the kind of person who loves flying.
I showed up like her, I dressed like her, I ate like her.
I've taken more than 10 long-haul flights since then, and enjoyed every one.
Because now I'm the person who loves flying. It's who I am.
Changing your identity is THE key to creating any result you want.
Any. result.
Because the only way to get from A to B is to BE the person at B.
In other words, you have to BE the person who gets what you want – before you have it.
To say this idea has changed my life would be an understatement.
I've created a free workbook of the exact process I use to my goals.
This is how I started my business.
This is how I got fully booked.
This is how I overcame my fear of flying.
This is how I became fully location independent.
This is how I did 50 push ups in a row.
This is how I got 900 members into my group in a day.
This is how I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro.
This is how I got accepted into my 2021 mastermind.
This is how I'm achieving my impossible goals.
