I recently opened the doors to my brand new membership, GET IT DONE. I couldn’t be more excited! This offer has been something I’ve wanted to create since the very beginning of my business (and actually tried to create in 2019, but my business wasn’t at the level to handle it yet). We’ve had 80 incredible members sign up in the first month and I’m just having so much fun.

Goals I’m working on right now:

Creating a simpler day to day

    7 figure business

    Building a community in Sydney

  • Hey! I’m Sarah.

I set goals to feel alive.

    Sweaty palms.
    Racing heart.

    Can’t think of anything else.

Combining my background in Psychology with my training as a High Performance Coach, I help ambitious entrepreneurs, creatives and athletes achieve their goals.

l created this blog to share behind-the-scenes of my own goals and help you push your limits. I'm creating what I wish existed for me to consume.

People often ask if I’ll climb Mt Everest like my parents did in the 90's (as depicted in the 2015 film, Everest).

While I’ve done a little bit of mountaineering (Kilimanjaro in 2011 and Everest Base Camp in 2007) what most people don’t know is that my late dad was also an entrepreneur. I feel most connected to him through our shared love of entrepreneurship and attempting the impossible in all areas of life.

Showing Up No Matter What

anthony-tran-i-ePv9Dxg7U-unsplash.jpg

Today I had a horrible headache.

It made me question if I should even show up for my goals when I'm unwell.

Should I really still expect 100% from myself?

Yes.

It might look different to show up when I'm unwell, but I committed to showing up every single day no matter what.

For better or worse.

In sickness and in health.

If you commit to picking your kid up from school, you pick them up from school. Period.

It doesn't matter how bad your headache is.

Even if you break your actual leg.

You find a way to get them home.

You don't have to drive them home yourself on your broken leg.

You can ask someone else to pick them up.

But it's happening.

The kid isn't staying at school overnight.

It's our job to commit to the outcome we want 100%.

The only difference is how we do it.

So today I slept half the day SO I could be ready to work in the evening.

But it isn't about me taking a break from my dreams.

That IS me showing up for my dreams.

Anyone can perform when they feel full of energy.

The real test of dedication is when we're sick, tired, and broke.

Show. up. for. your. dreams.

But only always.

Every Day is the Last Day of October

maddi-bazzocco-O-v6LWnU0OU-unsplash.jpg

What if you decided to show up every single day in October like it was the 31st of October?

What would October look like if every single day you acted as if there was only one day left to hit your goal?

1st of October = Give it your all

2nd of October = Give it 100%

3rd of October = Give it everything you've got

4th of October = Crush it harder than ever before

...31st of October = Celebrating like crazy because you surpassed your goal like a total boss.

Imagine where you could be at the end of this month.

It's like that movie, 50 First Dates.

Drew Barrymore's character has 24-hour amnesia, so every day Adam Sandler's character gets another chance to make a first impression.

Except this is 31 LAST dates with your goal.

Every day is another chance to crush it like it's the last day before the deadline.

October 2020 Goals

We’re in October! Quarter Four is here – that means GO time with final goals. 2021 is going to come around before we know it (I think a lot of the world will be relieved, amiright?!)

So here are my goals:

1. Focus even more on what matters. What totally doesn't matter right now? Where am I putting my energy that won't produce a return? Where can I dive deeper into what actually matters?

2. Meet the requirements to join the business mastermind I want to be in. This is non-negotiable for me. And they don't take just anyone who pays them. There are certain requirements that you have to hit, and at the beginning of August, it seemed fully impossible in every sense of the word. Now going into October, it's inevitable. Because I've DECIDED it's happening – and that I'm willing to do whatever it takes. (There will be a lot of watching Michael Jordan's documentary on repeat this month because it seriously pumps me up to go after my goals!)

3. Making actual progress on my shoulder healing. I am getting fully serious about this one. I said it a few months ago but I kind of only half meant it. Now, I REALLY mean it. I'm sick of being in pain. I bought a new monitor to help me look ahead instead of down at my laptop, and I got a desk that can be standing or sitting, AND I've even tracked down an ergonomic specialist who is going to come and fit me to the desk and get my chair right so I am at the ideal angle to reduce aggravation on my neck and shoulders. As part of this, I'm committing to doing my physio exercises every single day as well. I set a goal to do 100 push ups, and until I'm fully healed, I can't work on it. So no more excuses!

4. Reading a book or watching Netflix in the evenings. Okay – that might sound bizarre to set a goal to watch Netflix, but so often I have a habit of watching only business-related content (and then my brain never switches off from work in the evening) so I want to enjoy more social Netflix watching with my family and my boyfriend in the evenings.

What are your October Goals? Let me know in the comments!

September 2020 Goals Review

1A1A9157 (1).jpg

I went into September with the goal of doing LESS.

I had no idea that it would produce the most successful month I have ever had in my entire life,

Here is a rundown of my September Goals:

  1. Do less, to have more impact
I signed more clients this September than I did in the whole of 2019. Welcome aboard, you incredible people! I'm so excited to work with people on so many different kinds of impossible goals (and I can't wait to share their stories with you!). I had my biggest month EVER. 4x bigger than I have ever created before. That is freaking WILD to me. This is definitely because I focused on the 80/20 rule (80% of your success will come from 20% of your actions). So I decided to stop doing anything that wasn't impactful, and then dial up the 20% that was working. Plus, I managed to work only 4 hour days most days – generally 3 hours of coaching, 1 hour of content creation.

  2. Get the most important things done in the morning
This seems like obvious advice, but actually DOING it has been a game-changer for me. I've been waking up, creating all my content, and then taking my coaching calls after that. My day has been SO much better, way more relaxed and stress-free. I actually got this idea from Elizabeth Gilbert (writer of Eat Pray Love) who says she wakes up every day at 4am, writes until 9am when she starts to get texts and phone calls, and then she basically just takes baths for the rest of the day. I'm like omg. That sounds like bliss. So I started creating content from the moment I woke up (still in my pajamas) until it is DONE. Then I take calls in late morning/afternoon (and the occasional evening one if time zones don't align for the day).

  3. Run 3x a week.
I did this religiously for the first 3 weeks, and I had the most epic run where I crushed it harder than I ever have before. At some point in the final week of September, I aggravated my shoulder to the point of being in pain all day, so I deliberately decided not to run, to preserve my body. I'm counting this as 3/4 completed.

  4. Apply what I learned in my YouTube course to my videos.
I have been applying what I've been learning, including the MOST important thing I've learned: to research my content a while in advance. It's the worst feeling to have to pump out a YouTube video on spot when I'm not prepared. It doesn't usually go well

Your turn! Give me a rundown of your September Goals! How did you go? What went well? What will you do differently next month?

The Real Problem

1A1A9229.jpg

The goal is never the problem.

The only things that can hold you back from a goal are thoughts and actions.

Once I figured that out, things started shifting for me. Massively.

Now I’m focusing a lot more on my thoughts and actions, and almost putting no energy at all into thinking about the situation or circumstance.

Your Dream is Worthy

Your dream is worthy.

There, I said it.

Because Goal Shame is a real thing. And we ain't having it here.

If you want bucket loads of cash, awesome. Decide to go and get it.

If you want to cure Malaria, amazing. Decide to go and do it.

If you want to sing at the Superbowl, fab. Decide to go and do it.

Your goals don't have to be noble.

They just have to be authentic.

We could use some more authentic people in this world right now, amiright?

I heard the story of a hot-shot divorce lawyer who wanted to do something good in the world, so he quit his job to serve soup in a war-torn country.

Until he realized he would do a lot more good in the world by making millions divorcing people who would be happier divorced and sending all his money to people in need.

There is more than one way to do good in this world.

YOUR GOAL DOESN'T HAVE TO SAVE THE WORLD.

Admitting what you actually want is much more powerful than going after something you think you SHOULD want.

Being authentically you will serve the world 10x over.

So it totally doesn't matter what goal you have.

Just make sure you actually want it.

Once you've decided what it is you really want, I can help you create it.

I've got clients becoming full-time poets, creating 5-figure months, quitting their jobs, starting up businesses, producing music with Oscar-award-winning producers, buying houses, becoming influencers, selling their own art – it literally doesn't matter what you want.

Creating results is a skill you learn.

Once you understand it, you can apply it to anything.

You can create your dream.

Decide you're ready.

Or maybe decide it doesn't matter if you're ready or not.

It's Nike, baby. Just do it.

Book a consultation with me here.

It's Just Another Goal

IMG_7914.JPG

In January, I hit 50 push ups in a row

I also injured my shoulder shortly after.

And since then, I've had issues pretty consistently. It affects my neck, shoulders, back and sometimes even my arm.

This month, it's been a lot worse. I don't know what is happening, and sometimes to be honest, I freak out a bit.

It's so easy to imagine the worst-case scenario.

But I AM UNSTOPPABLE.

And this is just another goal.

And if there's one thing I know how to do, it's crush goals.

Here is my plan:

  • Continuing with my physio and doing my physio exercises

  • Getting another doctor's opinion (my mum is a doctor but she recommends seeing another one too)

  • Working ONLY from my phone (where I can bring it up to my face and work from lying down).

  • If I absolutely HAVE to use a computer (for editing videos etc), I will plug in my laptop to a desktop screen I bought yesterday.

  • Working on limiting beliefs around it with my friend & coach Nicole Middleton

  • Switching to a standing desk

  • Spending more time walking and standing than sitting

  • Taking extra multivitamins and anti-inflammatories

  • Doing more meditations (to let go of any unexpected emotional pain that could be contributing)

  • Watching comedy & laughing more (to reduce any mental stress that could be contributing)

  • Working only 4 hours a day (coaching calls + creating content)

TODAY I REMIND MYSELF:

I am unstoppable

I am unshakeable

I am healing more and more each day

I am getting stronger every day

I love every cell in my body

This pain is only temporary

Now I'm taking this on like a serious goal.

Let's do this.

What if nothing has gone wrong?

IMG_3210.jpeg

Our mind decides that things have gone wrong all the time.

Something went wrong because the client didn’t sign.

Something went wrong because nobody liked the post.

Something went wrong because the relationship ended.

What if nothing has gone wrong?

What if it’s all working exactly as it is supposed to?
