  • Updated 14th December 2024

I’m about to open the doors to my next offer, and I couldn’t be more excited. This offer has been something I’ve wanted to create since the very beginning of my business (and actually tried to create in 2019, but my business wasn’t at the level to handle it yet).

Goals I’m working on right now:

    My new offer

    7 figure business

    Building a community in Sydney

  • Hey! I’m Sarah.

I set goals to feel alive.

    Sweaty palms.
    Racing heart.

    Can’t think of anything else.

Combining my background in Psychology with my training as a High Performance Coach, I help ambitious entrepreneurs, creatives and athletes achieve their goals.

l created this blog to share behind-the-scenes of my own goals and help you push your limits. I'm creating what I wish existed for me to consume.

People often ask if I’ll climb Mt Everest like my parents did in the 90's (as depicted in the 2015 film, Everest).

While I’ve done a little bit of mountaineering (Kilimanjaro in 2011 and Everest Base Camp in 2007) what most people don’t know is that my late dad was also an entrepreneur. I feel most connected to him through our shared love of entrepreneurship and attempting the impossible in all areas of life.

Ready to do something impossible together?

Why You Don't Need Millions (or even hundreds) of Followers

Screen Shot 2020-07-10 at 11.39.02 PM.png

I was on the phone to one of my close friends, and fellow high performance coach, Lukas Kramer, today when he blew my mind.

He told me his latest YouTube video only had three views after 5 days.

But one of those views was from Damon Willis, the man that Brendon Burchard introduced onto his stage as “the best salesman for coaching in the world with over half a BILLION dollars in sales under his belt.”

I know this is true because Damon sent Lukas’ mentor an image of him watching it.

So while Lukas doesn’t have millions of followers, the people who are in his network are high caliber, highly influential people. Lukas has mastered the art creating relationships. His videos don’t go out to millions of people. But they get to the right people.

What if instead of worrying about the quantity of followers, we started worrying about the quality?

Why get millions of views when one view from the right person can change everything?

Goals Before Feelings

alex-wong-FIyiDmEVbnM-unsplash.jpg

If I’m honest, I’m having a bad day today.

Sometimes people ask me “don’t you ever have bad days and feel like you don’t want to work towards your goals?” and I’m like, of course I do!

I just refuse to let how I FEEL dictate whether or not I achieve my goals.

It might be controversial, but I put my goals before my feelings.

My long term goals are more important to me than how I feel on this one day.

This feeling will pass. Maybe in a few minutes, or hours, or days.

Don’t get me wrong – I’m not forcing a fake smile or pretending I don’t feel bad, or being horribly harsh on myself. I’m still taking care of myself. But the best way I know how to take care of myself isn’t to just have a a long hot shower and cry and eat chocolate (although, I did all of those things today too). The best way I know how to love myself is to still show up for my dreams.

So I’m here, blogging.
And I will meet with a potential coaching client in a few hours.
And I will plan my next YouTube video.

And I will keep calm and carry on.

Building The Dream

Image: me in 2011, a few hours from the summit of Kilimanjaro

Image: me in 2011, a few hours from the summit of Kilimanjaro

I didn’t climb Kilimanjaro to get to the top.

I climbed Kilimanjaro to climb.

And it was the most effort I’ve ever exerted in my entire life. And i nearly turned around just before the summit from altitude sickness. I nearly didn’t make it.

But I kept going because I wanted to show myself I could do it. I didn’t just want to be dropped by a helicopter at the top of a mountain - I wanted to do the work.

This is totally the same with my current goals:

I don’t want 100k subscribers on YouTube.

I want to GROW to 100k subscribers.

I actually have a fear of waking up one day in my dream life, married to my ideal partner, kids all grown up and business a huge success – and realised I’ve missed out on creating it all.

It’s not fun to just wake up and have my dream life. I want to BUILD my dream life.

When you want the process of achieving the goal even more than you want the end goal, you’ll wake up with motivation every single day.

"Show Up Every Day" Totally Applies to You

IMG_5155.JPG

Sometimes I think people assume the “show up every day” advice doesn’t apply to their goal.

So your dream is to get married?

You can't complain about not having a boyfriend or girlfriend when you've only met 2 new people in the last 6 months (and one of them was your friend's Grandma...).

Go out and meet 100 new people every week. In-person or online, it doesn’t matter. Decide to say yes to every single social invitation you receive for the next year.

Go to online Zoom speed dating events every night of the week for three months. Ask your friend to set you up on a blind date. Ask the cute barista “if he knows anyone single”. Introduce yourself to the check-out chick.

In order to meet the love of your life, you have to actually give yourself a chance to meet them.

Show up to meet the love of your life, every single day.

Or maybe your dream is to be the Editor of Vogue

How many articles have you sent to vogue contributors this week? How many local magazines have you offered to intern for free at this year?

Buy every issue of vogue from the past year and make a list of 50 people who have written featured articles. Email one person each day. Ask how they got their break. Ask how you can help them. Ask them to introduce you to someone.

Show up for your dream, every single day, no matter what it is.

This is the magic pill.

How to Win at Life

jeremy-lapak-CVvFVQ_-oUg-unsplash.jpg

Create a plan.

A simple one.

Just a few steps.

Execute it.

Screw up.

Keep going.

Screw up again.

Cry.

Keep going.

You don’t stop.

YOU DO NOT STOP.

You go until it works.

Even when it sucks.

Eventually, you win.

It’s really that simple.

Love Your Reasons

Learning To Have My Own Back

priscilla-du-preez-5eO8WdwszAQ-unsplash.jpg

I went to a wedding a few years ago and literally three different drunk guests all took turns telling me why I won’t be successful.

I wish I could say I stood up to them and said “I’ll show YOU!” But in reality, I just went to my room and cried.

For such a long time, I’ve felt like I had to justify everything I wanted in my life to the people around me. But I REFUSE to die knowing that I didn’t go after my dreams because of what someone else thought. That thought terrifies me.

But that wedding ended up being a major catalyst for me to decide what I believe I’m worth – not what anyone else thinks. It taught me I have to have my own back.

Since then, I’ve created:

🌍 Location independence so I can work from anywhere in my coaching business

🙋 An amazing free community of more than 800 kick-ass women striving towards their impossible goals (join us here)

💪50 push ups in a row

📱18k on Instagram

🏝A trip to my ultimate destination Bora Bora (that's the photo!)

✈️Visiting over 30 countries on 5 continents

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿Living abroad for two years

💵Tens of thousands of dollars in my coaching business

🔥Plus I’ve just hired my first team member!

And I’m just getting started.

If no one has told you, let me:

You can create any result you want.

Anything.

And you don’t have to justify it to anyone.

The only question is, what do you want?

Juicy

IMG_1380.jpeg

When I was a teenager I was obsessed with Juicy Couture. And I don’t even think I ever even bought anything from them.

I just loved the vibe of the brand.

Los Angeles. Girl power. Kick ass. Sweet. Sassy. Luxury.

Pam and Gela started the brand with just $200, and they turned it into a $1 billion brand. They also invented the modern fashion tracksuit.

If that’s not impossible goals, I don’t know what is.

I don’t really have amazing thoughts for you today. I just wanted to share that I love Juicy, I love Pam and Gela and I love their success story.

Keep going. Keep going.

Doubt Your Limits

If you have to doubt yourself, why not doubt your limits?

Doubt that you’re not ready.
Doubt that you’re not good enough.
Doubt that you weren’t born for this.

Believe your success is certain.

Doubt your limits.
