I’m currently drinking an earl grey tea with oat milk, sitting in the cafe that hosts two of my boyfriend’s escape rooms (in Brighton, England). We are visiting for a holiday and so he can help set up the next escape room with his business partner.

It’s wonderful and weird to be back in the cafe I spent so much time trying to build my business in, during 2018-2020. That version of me was so determined, but so stuck. If she can hear me, I’d like to tell her she builds her dream business. I think she already knows that, because she never once considered quitting.

I’m also working on my next offer, which will be opening for the new year. Feels full circle.

Goals I’m working on right now:

    Creating a new offer

    7 figure business

    Building a community in Sydney

  • Hey! I’m Sarah.

I set goals to feel alive.

    Sweaty palms.
    Racing heart.

    Can’t think of anything else.

Combining my background in Psychology with my training as a High Performance Coach, I help ambitious entrepreneurs, creatives and athletes achieve their goals.

l created this blog to share behind-the-scenes of my own goals and help you push your limits. I'm creating what I wish existed for me to consume.

People often ask if I’ll climb Mt Everest like my parents did in the 90's (as depicted in the 2015 film, Everest).

While I’ve done a little bit of mountaineering (Kilimanjaro in 2011 and Everest Base Camp in 2007) what most people don’t know is that my late dad was also an entrepreneur. I feel most connected to him through our shared love of entrepreneurship and attempting the impossible in all areas of life.

How to Take Command of Your Life

Pau.jpg

This morning I spoke with the incredible Paul Gowin on a Facebook Livestream. Paul is a Mustang Marine Combat Veteran turned transformational specialist!

Peace & love aren’t just words to Paul – they’re a way of life. In 2013, as a junior officer in the United States Marine Corps, Paul saw a way to decrease the number of people in a combat zone. Today he shared with me his ‘ABCs’ of how to use words, thoughts and actions to create more peace and transformation in your own life.

Ready to Take Command of your life?

This is the livestream for you.

HOWEVER, you may notice that the video is SUPER stretched (we look like aliens!) but don’t be put off! Listening is just as good, the content is so epic and will truly transform your life.

Watch & listen here.

P.S. Connect with Paul on Instagram here. And work with him here.

Messing Up

christopher-sardegna-CMOa3H1SXG0-unsplash.jpg

Ugh. You know that feeling when you mess up and it just can't be undone?

It's the worst.

That happened today. I missed a call with someone very important to me. For the third time in a row.

I cried.

I couldn't understand how it happened.

It just did.

I felt like beating myself up over it.

I googled searched what to do when you mess up.

The search results were not what I wanted to hear.

Complicated emotions can't be solved in a WikiHow 3 step process.

We have to feel the emotion. Allow ourselves to go through whatever we need to go through.

One of my favourite authors, Gabby Bernstein, talks about how until you feel the anger or sadness or whatever emotion it is, you can't actually move forward in the letting go process. Sometimes, you just have to yell and scream and get mad.

So this morning, instead of fighting the anger with myself, I let it in. I told myself off in the mirror. I cried in the shower.

And now, even though there is damage to repair and I don't know if the person will forgive me – I'm ready to accept it and love myself anyway.

Life Is a Spiral

One of my close friends and coach, Nicole Middleton, talks often talks about the ancient philosophy of spiraling.

She says that life is like a spiral.

You are constantly upleveling to the next layer of the spiral, and constantly revisiting the same truths. It's why we have the same "aha" moments all the time.

Some of my recurring truths. At each level of my spiral, I always come back to:

  • "I should just not worry about what anyone else thinks!"

  • "It doesn't matter. Nothing matters. So just enjoy it and have fun."

  • "It's all about who I am BEING, not what I am DOING."

At each level, I experience these realizations at an even deeper level.

I used to think that I was being silly for experiencing the same aha moments all the time. But now I know it is just a deeper knowing and deeper awakening every time.

Thank you Nicole <3

Here's Why 'Acting As If' is the Most Important Skill You Can Learn

Frank never went to flight school.
Frank never went to medical school.
Frank never went to law school.
Frank never went to university.

And yet, from the age of 15-21, teenage impostor and con artist, Frank William Abignale Jr. worked as a pilot, a doctor, a lawyer, and a professor.

No one ever questioned him or suspected him to be a fraud.

He just seemed like he was supposed to be there. He believed he was.

He was eventually caught, and after he was released from prison, he used his expertise to help the FBI catch other criminals, and he is now one of the world's most respected authorities on embezzlement and cheque fraud.

(If you haven't seen the movie based on his life, I highly recommend it).

The part that interests me the most isn't the crime – it's how at such a young age, he was able to convince everyone around him that he was these extraordinary things.

He took on the identity of the person he wanted to be.

If we put the crime aside for one moment, we can see that getting what we want in life is really about ONE thing.

Acting as if.

To get what you want, you have to BE the person you want to be – right now – by acting as if you already are that person.

When Frank was asked how he was able to get away with teaching as a Professor of Sociology at BYU (at sixteen!), he simply said "All I had to do was read one chapter ahead in the book."

IF HE CAN ACT AS IF HE IS A LAWYER AND A PILOT AND A PROFESSOR AND A DOCTOR, YOU CAN ACT AS IF YOU ARE THE NEXT LEVEL VERSION OF YOU.

Who do you need to BE to create the result you want in your life?

When You Give It All You Get it All

“You give it all, you get it all.” – Wim Hof, “The Ice Man”

Wim says your mindset is a neurological muscle.

It’s no longer a woo-woo concept – getting into a phenomenal mindset is scientifically proven to make a difference to your outcomes. It’s common knowledge now. Working on your mindset is one of the most important things you can do for your health, your success, and your happiness.

When you’re willing to put in 100% effort, you’ll get 100% out of it.

There's No Belief Police

kimberly-sterling-YlDP0IkQuxA-unsplash.jpg

You can believe anything you want to believe.

Literally anything.

It doesn’t even matter if it’s true or not.

Now that you can believe anything you want, what do you choose to believe?

Producing High Quality Thoughts

laura-chouette-FkNN4kYS0Do-unsplash.jpg

Your brain is like a fashion house.

Only, instead of producing handbags, it produces thoughts.

You can produce high end, luxurious thoughts (like Chanel), or you can produce low quality, low-end thoughts (like Walmart).

You are the designer.

You have full control over thought production.

You’ve got a vision for the high quality, luxury thoughts you want to produce – because you know they will create a much better life.

However, sometimes when you’re not looking, production quality in the Thought Manufacturing Department slips.

You might not even catch your brain producing low-quality thoughts, because they’re very familiar.

That’s why you’ve got to be on watch, every single day to make sure sneaky low-quality thoughts don’t get past.

I suggest a morning meeting.

Every day when I wake up, I do quality control in the form of affirmations (I’ve got a whole list you can try here).

You can have a luxury brain, full of luxurious thoughts.

All you have to do is remember that you are the designer – you are in control.

How to Change Your Beliefs Around Money

I believe that the more money I create, the more I can help others.

But we all have a subconscious limit of how much money we believe is possible for us to create, and therefore we put a limit on how much we can help others. Today I’m walking you through an exercise you can do to break through your glass ceiling/money limit.

Let me know what you think!
