Updated October 28th 2024
I’m currently drinking an earl grey tea with oat milk, sitting in the cafe that hosts two of my boyfriend’s escape rooms (in Brighton, England). We are visiting for a holiday and so he can help set up the next escape room with his business partner.
It’s wonderful and weird to be back in the cafe I spent so much time trying to build my business in, during 2018-2020. That version of me was so determined, but so stuck. If she can hear me, I’d like to tell her she builds her dream business. I think she already knows that, because she never once considered quitting.
I’m also working on my next offer, which will be opening for the new year. Feels full circle.
Goals I’m working on right now:
Creating a new offer
7 figure business
Building a community in Sydney

Hey! I’m Sarah.
I set goals to feel alive.
Sweaty palms.
Racing heart.
Can’t think of anything else.Combining my background in Psychology with my training as a High Performance Coach, I help ambitious entrepreneurs, creatives and athletes achieve their goals.
l created this blog to share behind-the-scenes of my own goals and help you push your limits. I'm creating what I wish existed for me to consume.
People often ask if I’ll climb Mt Everest like my parents did in the 90's (as depicted in the 2015 film, Everest).
While I’ve done a little bit of mountaineering (Kilimanjaro in 2011 and Everest Base Camp in 2007) what most people don’t know is that my late dad was also an entrepreneur. I feel most connected to him through our shared love of entrepreneurship and attempting the impossible in all areas of life.
Ready to do something impossible together?

BE the Person You Want to Be
I was afraid of flying for 10 years.
Gripping the seat, silent crying, sweating through my clothes kind of fear.
I thought it was just who I was.
Then I rapidly changed my identity. I decided to become the kind of person who loves flying.
I showed up like her, I dressed like her, I ate like her.
I've taken more than 10 long-haul flights since then, and enjoyed every one.
Because now I'm the person who loves flying. It's who I am.
Changing your identity is THE key to creating any result you want.
Any. result.
Because the only way to get from A to B is to BE the person at B.
In other words, you have to BE the person who gets what you want – before you have it.
To say this idea has changed my life would be an understatement.
I've created a free workbook of the exact process I use to my goals.
This is how I started my business.
This is how I got fully booked.
This is how I overcame my fear of flying.
This is how I became fully location independent.
This is how I did 50 push ups in a row.
This is how I got 900 members into my group in a day.
This is how I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro.
This is how I got accepted into my 2021 mastermind.
This is how I'm achieving my impossible goals.

December Beliefs
If you were going to be 10x more successful this month than you were last month, what would you have to start believing about yourself?
Here are the beliefs I'm working on in December:
I've decided it's happening.
It's already done.
I'm being tested to see how bad I want it.
I'm willing to do whatever it takes – for REAL.
Everything always works out for me, even if it doesn't look like it at first.
I can handle anything.
My success is inevitable.
I am committed to the outcome.
It is already working.
What do you need to start believing about yourself to create 10x more success?
2019 Sarah vs 2020 Sarah
In 2019, I made £7 an hour working for someone else.
In 2020, I made repeated 5 figure months working for myself.
In 2019, I had no Facebook Group.
In 2020, I have a Facebook Group of 2500 people.
In 2019, I didn't have more than 2 clients at a time.
In 2020, I have 21 clients at once.
In 2019, I was trying SO hard.
In 2020, I saw my outcomes as non-negotiable.
Here's what changed:
In 2019, I would give up on my goals while there was still time to achieve them, just because it didn't seem likely I could do it.
In 2020, I decided to believe in my ability to make things happen until the very last minute.
I learned success is not defined by chance or probability.
Success is defined by your decisions.
Decide to make it work, no matter what.
Decide to believe there's always a way.
Decide to keep going even when it feels like you're doomed.
Even when there's a 99.9% chance it won't work, there will always be an underdog who makes it happen.
Because the underdog has something the others don't have:
An unshakeable determination to make it work against all odds.
Be the underdog.
Blow your own mind.
You're only one decision away.
Learning to Expand My Power
My impossible goal philosophy has always been about "doing whatever it takes."
But only in the last 6 months, has it really clicked in my brain what that actually means.
Sometimes doing everything in my power isn't enough to hit the goal. Sometimes, I have to find a way to build extra power.
And that is the key I was missing before.
I use to just stop at my natural ability to get things done, instead of asking how I can become better.
I used to think "Well, I've done everything in my power" – and feel like I was forced to give up.
Like it wasn't in my control.
But what if I change what "everything in my power" is?
Then suddenly it's not about how hard the task is, but how strong I am willing to get.
The goal doesn't need to be easier. I need to get stronger.
That's why I believe in impossible goals.
That's why I know I'll hit my goals this month, and next month, and next year.
Not because it's hard or easy.
But because I'm deciding to get stronger.
The Best Part about December
It's December and I know that means Christmas gets all the hype.
But to me, the best part of December is always New Year's Eve.
And to be honest, even though I love a good boogie at a giant party, my dream New Years Eve is actually:
a vision board party where we all set our goals for the next year
long, deep conversations where we share our biggest, most impossible desires
a huge platter of crackers and dips
a long journaling session and visualisation meditation
getting to sleep soon after midnight so we can wake up early and go for a run or do our new morning routine or whatever you've planned as the new YOU.
Tell me you feel the magic of NYE too.
I mean, I love to dance and sing and kiss at midnight, but really, I just want to lie awake in bed with a cup of hot chocolate and plan for the person I'm about to become.
Anyone else?
November Thoughts
Thoughts that have been helping me get closer to my goals in November:
🔥 There is always another way.
🔥 What would Michael Jordan do?
🔥 I can do impossible things.
🔥 I can handle anything.
🔥 I get to decide to make it happen.
🔥 My success is inevitable.
What thoughts have been helping you get to your goals this month?
The Beauty of Building
Builders don’t become builders to finish projects. They become builders because they love to build.
Climbers don’t become climbers to get to the top. They become climbers because they love to climb.
Do the thing because you love to do it. Not because it’s going to get you somewhere.
Especially in business.
That's why it's called a Start-Up and not an End-Up.
It never was and it never will be about "being there."
The kind of people who create Start-Ups usually create more than one.
Because they love to start. They love to build. They love to create.
The Only Thing You Have To Do Is Breathe
The only thing you HAVE to do is breathe.
You don't have to go to work.
You don't have to change your clothes everyday.
You don't even have to cook for your kids.
The only thing you have to do is breathe.
Everything else is a choice.
So what do you want to do?
Active Contentment
I once spent 3 days straight soul-searching for my own definition of happiness.
Happiness doesn't mean the same thing for everyone. But what I ended up with is perfect for me:
Happiness is being content with the stage of growth I'm in.
And today I stumbled across a phrase that feels like the next piece in the existential jigsaw:
Active Contentment.
Passive contentment is like saying "Let it be".
Active Contentment is like saying "Let it grow."
Actively pushing forward. Today is good. Tomorrow can be better.
Just Because It's True For Them, Doesn't Make It True for You
I’ve been listening to some business podcasts recently about niches. And according to them, it’s a bad idea to have a broad niche. You shouldn’t just help anyone. You should only help people get one specific result.
That might be true for some people.
But I don’t subscribe.
I help people achieve impossible goals. Any impossible goal.
It doesn’t have to be a certain kind. It just has to be huge, and out of reach, and beyond what your current beliefs tell you that you can do.
Then I can help you.
And maybe one day I’ll decide to only help moms with allergies who want to train newborn kittens, but for now, I’m sticking to my broad niche.
But for now, I’m fully booked. So if you want to work with me, jump on my waitlist by filling out the application to work together here.
But just because something works for other people, doesn’t mean it will work for you.
You don’t have to niche down if you don’t want to.
You could niche up.
You could niche across.
You could just forget about having a niche at all.
Figure out what actually works for you. Then go and do it, 10x harder.
