  • Updated 14th December 2024

I’m about to open the doors to my next offer, and I couldn’t be more excited. This offer has been something I’ve wanted to create since the very beginning of my business (and actually tried to create in 2019, but my business wasn’t at the level to handle it yet).

Goals I’m working on right now:

    My new offer

    7 figure business

    Building a community in Sydney

  • Hey! I’m Sarah.

I set goals to feel alive.

    Sweaty palms.
    Racing heart.

    Can’t think of anything else.

Combining my background in Psychology with my training as a High Performance Coach, I help ambitious entrepreneurs, creatives and athletes achieve their goals.

l created this blog to share behind-the-scenes of my own goals and help you push your limits. I'm creating what I wish existed for me to consume.

People often ask if I’ll climb Mt Everest like my parents did in the 90's (as depicted in the 2015 film, Everest).

While I’ve done a little bit of mountaineering (Kilimanjaro in 2011 and Everest Base Camp in 2007) what most people don’t know is that my late dad was also an entrepreneur. I feel most connected to him through our shared love of entrepreneurship and attempting the impossible in all areas of life.

The 100k Subscriber Version of Me

I created a video last week that sucked.

It felt awkward and not ready at all.

But I didn't have time to film it again, so I put it up anyway.

Because I choose to step into the kind of person who has 100k subscribers - right now.

Even though I don't have them yet.

I know they're coming.

But not if I don't show up like the 100k Subscriber version of myself every single day.

And the 100k Subscriber version of me puts out a video every week.

No matter what.

Even if it's not perfect. Even if it sucks.

Because I know one thing for sure:

The key to success is doing what I said I'd do.

But only always.

P.S. I'm the kind of coach who holds you to your word. When you're ready to finally build the dream you said you said you'd build, book a consult with me.

Being Boss

1a1a6817.JPG

One of the catches of being your own boss is that you never get away from your boss.

I boss myself around a LOT.

I tell myself there is always more I could be doing.

And I work from home, which means work never technically goes away.

Especially because I LOVE what I do. Coaching is the best job ever.

But I know that I have to be more deliberate about my time if I want to have a more balanced lifestyle.

Today was the first day in a loooong time where I took the whole day off.

I didn't check emails, I didn't coach anyone, I didn't work at all.

I didn't even make one single to do list. Whaaaaat?! (Any other A-Type personalities here?)

I've deliberately decided that I won't work on Saturdays – only fun and relaxation.

So today I painted on canvas, I watched TV, I hung out with my boyfriend and my sister, I chatted to my bestie on the phone.

It was bliss.

And even though I took the day off from officially working, I still showed up for my dreams.

I wrote on my blog, I brainstormed, I thought about how I can add more value.

I believe in taking days off work – but no days off from my dreams. Ever.

Because what if the day I take off is the day they come true?

On My List Today

I love seeing the behind-the-scenes in other people’s lives, so I thought I would share what I’m doing today:

  • Call with my coach, Jess Ainsworth.

  • Coaching calls with two of my own coaching clients

  • Writing my blog post

  • Client accountability check-ins

  • Livestream in my group

  • Phone call with a friend in Germany

  • Tidying the house

  • Physiotherapy exercises

  • Studying the YouTube for Bosses course I enrolled in

I’m planning to get it all done by 5pm so that I have time in the evening to relax (because I’m notorious for working until 1am and never taking a break to chill!).

Let me know if you enjoy these behind-the-scenes posts and I’ll create them more often!

10x The Effort

IMG_5912.JPG

What if you put in 10x the effort?

Just for this week.

Just to test it.

What if you spoke to 10x the people?

Sent 10x the emails?

Did 10x the reps?

Put in 10x the hours?

What if that’s all that’s standing between you and your result?

Are you willing to put in 10x the effort to create the result you want?

My Ideal Schedule

July was super intense with a ton of goals to hit, so in August I’m back into my daily work ethic.

I’ve created myself a plan of what my day looks like as the future ideal version of me, and I’m stepping into that version of me now by living her schedule.

Here’s what that looks like:

  • CEO time from 10am to 11am (emails, connecting with my audience, writing my blog)

  • Coaching calls from 11am to 3pm

  • Growing my audience and connecting with people from 3pm-4pm

  • Doing a weekly task 4pm-5pm (e.g. filming, editing, PR, emailing my list, or doing a Livestream)

I’m super excited about this new schedule. I set it up from 10am-5pm so I will actually get a chance to have my evenings off. I realised that although I have been hustling a lot, I haven’t been working very efficiently. So following this ideal schedule is my challenge this month!

What is your ideal schedule?

Start

In the last few days I’ve been struggling with procrastination for making my YouTube videos.

I pretend I don’t know how to fix it. That way I can procrastinate some more.

But I do know how to fix it.

I just need to DO the thing. Set up the camera. Press record. Go.

It’s one of the 5 Sutras of the Aquarian Age:

When the time is on you, start, and the pressure will be off.

So I’m starting, right now.

Expect a video soon.

How to Get the Most Out of Coaching

nicolas-gras-gkK8C8zI2QQ-unsplash.jpg

One of the questions I’ve been asking myself is how I can get the most out of working with my coach.

And recently I’ve realized the key is to go beyond doing what they say.

Yes, do what they say – but also, do what they do.

They won’t tell you this part. They won’t mention the things that are just so obvious to them. What time they get up, what beliefs they hold, what mindset they’re working on.

I’ve been working on actually reading the books my coach recommends.
Following her coaches.
Asking myself, “what would my coach do in this situation?”

My coach/mentor Stacey Boehman is phenomenal. And I will do anything she says.

She personally told me to stop focusing on my membership site until I have fully booked out my one-on-one coaching.

So in May, I stopped offering my Impossible Incubator membership (maybe one day it will come back – but not yet).

I will do whatever she says. I will read whatever she reads. I will do whatever she does.

I’m working on squeezing every last drop of goodness out of working with my coach. Because I know that is the way to uplevel like crazy.

Doing What I Said I'd Do

Screen Shot 2020-07-02 at 10.38.42 PM.png

Here’s the truth: I do what I say I’m going to do, 95% of the time.

But there’s still that 5% where I procrastinate or make excuses or just simply don’t do it.

It drives me wild. Because I know that last 5% is the difference between being good and being great.

I want to be the kind of person who follows through on what she says she is going to do, ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of the time.

I’m working on commitment intensely at the moment. It’s my number one thing with myself, and it’s my number one thing with my clients.

Doing the thing you said you’d do. No matter what.

Today, I saw a website tab open on my computer from two weeks ago.

I’ve been saying I wanted to buy this posture trainer device for ages to help heal my shoulder from my injury (you stick it to your back every day and it vibrates when you slump or sit badly to remind you to sit up straight!).

But I haven’t bought it. It’s just been on the backburner. “I’ll get around to it.”

So today I opened the tab and bought it. Not because I even want it that much.

But because I damn well said I would buy it, and I am stepping into the version of me that commits 100% of the time, even with the tiniest, smallest, seemingly unnecessary commitments.

I’m committing like no one else – to see results like no one else.

How to be Consistent

IMG_1904.jpeg

If I could tell my past self anything, here’s what I would say:⁣

Choose one thing that will move you closer to your goal, and do it every single day. ⁣

No matter what. ⁣

On weekends. ⁣

On Christmas. ⁣

On your birthday. ⁣

Do it even when you don’t feel like it. Especially when you don’t feel like it.

3x a week isn’t enough. If it was, you’d be there by now. ⁣

Do it every. single. day.⁣

Your life will transform.⁣

Planning My Day With Rocks & Sand

Adjustments.jpeg

I’ve been working with my coach on being more productive during my day, and I’ve implemented this new way to prioritize my to-do list:

Rocks = big tasks that need to be prioritized

Sand = small tasks that can be done when there are a few minutes of downtime between doing the rocks

So each day, I’ve been setting my to-do list up with rocks and sand. That way, I know I need to hit as much on the rocks list as I can BEFORE I fluff around doing the sand.

Have you tried this technique before? Let me know in the comments!
