  • Updated 19th January 2025

I recently opened the doors to my brand new membership, GET IT DONE. I couldn’t be more excited! This offer has been something I’ve wanted to create since the very beginning of my business (and actually tried to create in 2019, but my business wasn’t at the level to handle it yet). We’ve had 80 incredible members sign up in the first month and I’m just having so much fun.

Goals I’m working on right now:

Creating a simpler day to day

    7 figure business

    Building a community in Sydney

  • Hey! I’m Sarah.

I set goals to feel alive.

    Sweaty palms.
    Racing heart.

    Can’t think of anything else.

Combining my background in Psychology with my training as a High Performance Coach, I help ambitious entrepreneurs, creatives and athletes achieve their goals.

l created this blog to share behind-the-scenes of my own goals and help you push your limits. I'm creating what I wish existed for me to consume.

People often ask if I’ll climb Mt Everest like my parents did in the 90's (as depicted in the 2015 film, Everest).

While I’ve done a little bit of mountaineering (Kilimanjaro in 2011 and Everest Base Camp in 2007) what most people don’t know is that my late dad was also an entrepreneur. I feel most connected to him through our shared love of entrepreneurship and attempting the impossible in all areas of life.

Being Boss

1a1a6817.JPG

One of the catches of being your own boss is that you never get away from your boss.

I boss myself around a LOT.

I tell myself there is always more I could be doing.

And I work from home, which means work never technically goes away.

Especially because I LOVE what I do. Coaching is the best job ever.

But I know that I have to be more deliberate about my time if I want to have a more balanced lifestyle.

Today was the first day in a loooong time where I took the whole day off.

I didn't check emails, I didn't coach anyone, I didn't work at all.

I didn't even make one single to do list. Whaaaaat?! (Any other A-Type personalities here?)

I've deliberately decided that I won't work on Saturdays – only fun and relaxation.

So today I painted on canvas, I watched TV, I hung out with my boyfriend and my sister, I chatted to my bestie on the phone.

It was bliss.

And even though I took the day off from officially working, I still showed up for my dreams.

I wrote on my blog, I brainstormed, I thought about how I can add more value.

I believe in taking days off work – but no days off from my dreams. Ever.

Because what if the day I take off is the day they come true?

A Quick Mindset Hack for Performing at Your Full Potential

I’m putting out videos every Friday now – as accountability to make sure they always go up on time (since last month I ended up putting my last four out on the final few days of the month, oops). This almost didn’t go up, because I wanted it to be different. But hey, the best artists are the ones who make the most art, because they practice so much. So, I put it out anyway – and to keep my promises to myself.

Because I’ve decided that is who I am.

This video is all about how to hack your potential with a simple mindset switch.

Let me know what you think and don’t forget to hit subscribe!

The Most Important Skill You Can Learn

EB77F2B8-328C-4A34-AFDD-2C84E9EF10D5.JPG

The most important skill you can ever learn is how to create results.

Once you know how to create results, you can set any goal in the world and KNOW you're going to hit it.

You control your results with your thoughts.

Because what you're thinking determines the kind of action you're willing to take.

And the action you take determines the kind of results you get.

Last month I really didn't feel like I was going to hit my goal of 1500 members in my Facebook group. I had no idea how.

But I decided I would hit the goal anyway – regardless of how I felt about it.

And then we got 900 members in a DAY.

Nervous? Afraid? Worried? Stressed? Okay. Execute anyway.

You get to decide to make it happen.

If it was life or death, you know you could make anything happen.

Why wait until it's life or death to perform at your potential?

The result you want is available to you right now.

August Goals Update

Screen Shot 2020-08-12 at 10.31.52 AM.png

One of the challenges I've been facing with my goals is that I set a bunch at the beginning of the month and then I focus super hard on one or two, and kind of leave the others on the back burner until it's almost too late (recently I had to read 3 books in ONE DAY because of this issue, haha!).

So to keep myself focused and accountable, here is an update on the progress of my goals this month so far.

🔥 Put out a YouTube video every week (and start a video release “day”)

I've put out one and I'm filming today so my next video will be ready to go out this Friday. I set Friday as my official day videos will go out now (see the proof on my YouTube banner!), so I'm accountable to the world to always get them out by Friday.

Helpful thought: I am the kind of person who always does what she says she will do.

🔥 Run 2x a week

I've been doing this. 3x last week, 1x this week already. I'm actually super impressed that this hasn't required much mental effort (I think because I'm loving listening to Podcasts at the moment and it's always an opportunity to listen to a podcast!).

Helpful thought: Running is becoming one of my favourite activities. Michael Jordan would do it.

🔥 Show up every day in my Facebook Group with value

I'm doing this, but my goal is to make this group THE best place on the internet. Let me know – if you’re in the group, let me know: how can I serve you more? What would you LOVE in this group?

Helpful thought: This group filled with supportive women helping each other crush our goals!

🔥 Learn the YouTube Algorithm

I've begun my YouTube course and I'm keen to dive in deeper about SEO and keywords and all of that jazz!

Helpful thought: Every day I get better and better at YouTube.

🔥 Create a way to make my work more environmental/sustainable/contributing to climate action

This one I've been thinking about a lot, and I've got some really fun ideas, but I haven't discovered something that I am ready to take action on yet. I will continue to work on this.

Helpful thought: There is always a way to make an impact, I just have to find it.

How have your August goals been going? Leave me a comment, I’d love to hear!

On My List Today

I love seeing the behind-the-scenes in other people’s lives, so I thought I would share what I’m doing today:

  • Call with my coach, Jess Ainsworth.

  • Coaching calls with two of my own coaching clients

  • Writing my blog post

  • Client accountability check-ins

  • Livestream in my group

  • Phone call with a friend in Germany

  • Tidying the house

  • Physiotherapy exercises

  • Studying the YouTube for Bosses course I enrolled in

I’m planning to get it all done by 5pm so that I have time in the evening to relax (because I’m notorious for working until 1am and never taking a break to chill!).

Let me know if you enjoy these behind-the-scenes posts and I’ll create them more often!

Ambitious Women Change The World

My Grandma, Margaret, who played a major role in setting up the Women’s Shelter in Christchurch, NZ.

My Grandma, Margaret, who played a major role in setting up the Women’s Shelter in Christchurch, NZ.

Sometimes people ask me why I am such an ambitious woman.

Why do I need to go after impossible dreams? Why not just be satisfied with the way things are?

And I'm like, GIRL. We need to talk.

You and I are some of the first women in history – and still in the world today – to have the freedom to even TRY to fulfill our potential.

And that is only because we are standing on the shoulders of generations of women who fought for us to have the opportunities we have.

My heart breaks at the thought of all the women with brilliant ideas and dreams who never got a chance to attempt them.

Thanks to ambitious women fighting for our rights – to vote, to go to school, to have bank accounts, to have reproductive choices – you and I have the chance to go after our dreams.

Ambitious women changed the world for us.

And now it's our turn to be an example of what is possible for the next generation of women.

I will never, ever, apologise for being ambitious.

I owe it to my grandmother.

Thinking About Running vs Actually Running

IMG_5611.JPG

Okay so when I set my August goals, I decided that I would run 2x per week.

And to be honest, I've been dreading it

I've been telling myself I'm "working up to it" these last few months by walking.

But in my heart I know that's just an excuse.

So this week, I did it. Both times. And it wasn't that bad at all.

The actual running part was easy.

It was thinking about running that took all the effort.

  • Thinking about putting on my shoes and going out in the cold.

  • Thinking about how to fit it into my schedule.

  • Thinking about when I could take my post-run shower.

But it's never the actual task. Ever. It's all just mind drama.

New thoughts I'm practicing:

  • Running is easy.

  • I am a runner. It's who I am.

  • I get to choose how I feel about this.

  • I am unstoppable.

Note to self: No more mind drama about the thing. Just do the thing.

Your unhelpful thoughts are eating your dreams alive

priscilla-du-preez-ZBTvvLLuhhg-unsplash.jpg

Your unhelpful thoughts are eating your dreams alive.

Because when we think an unhelpful thought, we take unhelpful action.

It's 11:59pm right now. Fact.

I do not feel like writing. Thought.

Only the first one is true.

The second one is just a sentence I made up in my head.

"I don't feel like writing" isn't going to get me to write. So why am I choosing to think it?

I can just make up a new sentence in my head instead.

It's 11:59pm right now. Fact.

"I'm the kind of person who can push through discomfort for her goals." Thought.

A much more helpful thought.

Because now I am writing.

If I allowed myself to accept the first thought, I would have gone to bed already without following through on my commitment to write.

You get to choose your thoughts.
They're just sentences you make up in your head.

So what thoughts do you need to think to get what you want today?

10x The Effort

IMG_5912.JPG

What if you put in 10x the effort?

Just for this week.

Just to test it.

What if you spoke to 10x the people?

Sent 10x the emails?

Did 10x the reps?

Put in 10x the hours?

What if that’s all that’s standing between you and your result?

Are you willing to put in 10x the effort to create the result you want?
