I’m about to open the doors to my next offer, and I couldn’t be more excited. This offer has been something I’ve wanted to create since the very beginning of my business (and actually tried to create in 2019, but my business wasn’t at the level to handle it yet).

Goals I’m working on right now:

    My new offer

    7 figure business

    Building a community in Sydney

  • Hey! I’m Sarah.

I set goals to feel alive.

    Sweaty palms.
    Racing heart.

    Can’t think of anything else.

Combining my background in Psychology with my training as a High Performance Coach, I help ambitious entrepreneurs, creatives and athletes achieve their goals.

l created this blog to share behind-the-scenes of my own goals and help you push your limits. I'm creating what I wish existed for me to consume.

People often ask if I’ll climb Mt Everest like my parents did in the 90's (as depicted in the 2015 film, Everest).

While I’ve done a little bit of mountaineering (Kilimanjaro in 2011 and Everest Base Camp in 2007) what most people don’t know is that my late dad was also an entrepreneur. I feel most connected to him through our shared love of entrepreneurship and attempting the impossible in all areas of life.

Ready to do something impossible together?

If You Only Kinda Want It, You're Only Kinda Gonna Get It

pexels-mikhail-nilov-6620787.jpg

If you only kinda want it, you’re only kinda gonna get it. – Matheson Brown

You have to want it bad.

More than anyone.

More than you did yesterday.

More than anything else in your life.

And when you want it that bad, you’ll be willing to do whatever it takes.

Anything.

The rules no longer apply.

You’re not afraid to knock on every door in your neighbourhood to ask for donations.

You’re not afraid to ring up people you haven’t spoken to in 10 years and ask for help.

You’re not afraid to look like you’re trying really, really hard.

When you want it bad, all excuses fall away.

Whenever we set a goal to grow this group, we always surpass it. It doesn't matter if I set the goal to grow by 500, 800 or 1000 members. We ALWAYS surpass it by the deadline. Because we want it bad.

When I set my goal to do 40 push-ups in a month, I surpassed it and hit 50. Because I wanted it SO bad.

When I decided I was no longer willing to settle for a job a hated, the flip switched in me and I went from trying to create some income as a coach to committing to making a full-time income as a coach – whatever it took. And it worked.

I talk to a lot of people about their goals. It's what I do all day – I get on Zoom and I coach people on their most impossible goals.

And sometimes, people tell me they want their goals 10/10.

And then they have 300 excuses about why they can't do what they need to do to get it.

You can tell me you want your goal bad, but until you are truly willing to do whatever it takes, no excuses, you won't get it.

So the question is, how bad do you really want it?

The Unsexy Truth About Getting Unstuck

pexels-pixabay-247851.jpg

In 2018, whenever I came up against a problem in my business, instead of trying to find a creative solution to solve it – I would just change the problem I was dealing with.

No clients? Start a membership site! No members? Start a YouTube channel! No subscribers? Start a podcast! No podcast equipment? Join a gym!

I thought I was making progress, but I never actually created solutions – I just chose different problems.

I wish someone had told me this. In fairness, they probably did. (Sorry, Daniel!)

But I couldn’t see.

Because I was desperately focused on finding the magic pill – the one thing that would make my business take off.

The key I was missing was to be relentlessly resourceful.

In other words, the key is to keep coming up with new, creative ways to solve the obstacle you’re facing.

The keyword here is keep.

You can’t try a few things and then stop. You have to keep going until there’s a solution that works.

Thomas Edison tested over 1000 ideas to create the lightbulb before he came upon the one that worked.

Imagine if, after the first couple of ideas, he’d given up to try working on the telephone? Or the automobile?

Eventually, I figured out that I had to stick to one thing, and my business finally got off the ground.

But it could have been sooooooo much sooner.

So if I could go back, I would tell myself this unsexy truth:

Success will come when you are relentlessly resourceful about finding solutions to the ONE problem you're facing.

What is your ONE problem you are committed to solving?

Guest-Posting From The Past

IMG_4179.PNG

I found more iPhone notes – this time from 2018.

Clearly I’ve had the same message since day one:

Show up every single day and take action.

The only difference is now, I’m my own proof that it works.

(And apparently I had creative insomnia back then too – what else can you do when inspiration hits at 4am?! 😂)

Note to Self

I found a love note from my 2019 self. Thanks for believing in me, girl.

Does anyone else find random old stream-of-consciousness notes in their phone? 🤷

Motivation Isn’t Supposed to Last

IMG_8268.JPG

There’s this idea that we should be totally motivated, all the time, and if we’re not, there’s something wrong with us.

Um, no.

Lasting motivation is a lie. You cannot rely purely on motivation to get shiz done. EVER.

Motivation is just a feeling, just like sadness or fatigue or excitement.

It’s not about getting motivated once and staying that way, it’s about bringing yourself back to a motivated state as often as you can. (It doesn’t even matter how long you’ve been unmotivated for – you can become the most motivated person on the planet with a single thought).

When we’re motivated, it’s because we’re choosing motivating thoughts.

Thoughts that motivate me:

  • Michael Jordan would do it.

  • I am the kind of person who does what she says she’s going to do.

  • Someone out there needs me to do this right now.

  • My success is inevitable.

  • I eat fear for breakfast.

  • All I have to do is take one tiny step forward. And then another.

  • I am literally unstoppable.

  • I want this more than I want anything.

  • I will look back and be SO proud.

What thoughts motivate you?

Relentless Effort

your quote source (2).png

533 - The number of days I’ve blogged in a row

365 - The number of days I meditated in a row

1000 – the number of days it took me to get fully booked in my business

49928 – the number of dollars I’ve spent on business training in 2 years

3 – the number of times I had to go back to a job I hated before I made my business work

1378 - the number of people who joined my Facebook group in the last 30 days

21 - the number of 1:1 clients I signed in the last 3 months.

I’m an effective entrepreneur today because my past self cultivated the discipline to do what she said she was going to do, even when it sucked.

There’s no magic pill.

There’s no secret.

There’s only one thing.

Relentless freaking effort.

Network With the People Around You

107901291_651163105747481_3980082523465491724_n.jpg

An unreasonably large number of the world’s best football players all come from the same football club in one small village.

Why?

Because that club has figured out how to turn anyone into a phenomenal player.

It makes me think about our Facebook group of Impossible Girls.

What if in 15 years time, someone traces back all the top leaders and change makers of the world to this one group that was a catalyst for achieving impossible goals?

You could be commenting next to a future prime minister or billionaire philanthropist, right now.

You could become best friends with a future celebrity in this group today.

You could meet the next Oprah in this group, this week.

Think about the kind of goals we all have.

Statistically speaking, some of the people in this group are going to be ridiculously successful in the next few years.

So you might want to make some friends here, because you’re all epic af and headed for greatness.

This group is a networking goldmine.

Just saying ❤️
